Make a Room with Warmer Shades of Beige

by Dolores Farrell & Aoife Ní Dhonghaile

As the grey phase slowly fades ever so slightly into the background the new colour appearing in interior décor is beige. Before you decide to make the switch (or not), we have some examples of how to pair these tones into your home.

The cooler tones of many shades of grey have been a prominent trend, it’s time to make a room of warmer shades of beige! The movement to colours with a brown undertone and warmer wooden neutrals celebrates warm off-white colours.

Beige has calming attributes. Pair it with stone, green or burgundy for a rich natural feel.

Another perfect pairing with beige are navy and shades of blue.

Or if you’re just not ready to part ways with grey, why not combine your grey with a beige accent by adding new cushions or a statement rug to stay on trend.
